Linda Brooks is an abstract artist working in monotype and collage whose work explores tension, balance, and structural rhythm.
Educated in both science and art, she is drawn to the interplay of perceived opposites. Her work investigates transitions, tension, and connection, with a particular focus on the push and pull between subtlety and dynamism, and between organic and geometric forms.
Working primarily on paper, Linda creates mixed-media pieces that incorporate printmaking, painting, and collage.
She is particularly engaged by the studio process — shaping raw material into resolved, cohesive work.
Originally from New York, Linda currently works from her studio in Tustin, California.
